Lorin Green has studied music since the age of nine with concentrations in voice, violin, and flute. She graduated from John S. Davidson Fine Arts Magnet School located in Augusta, GA in 2016 with her pathway being in Music. Ms. Green has also performed with the United States Army Field Band, has attended music festivals and camps held by prestigious members of the Flute Community such as Bonita Boyd of the Eastman School of Music, and was the winner of the 2018 Sigma Alpha Iota Mary Ann Starring Memorial Award in the Woodwind or Brass Division. Ms. Green recently received her Bachelors in Flute Performance from Kennesaw State University where she sat as Principal Flute of the Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble and studied Flute with Mrs. Christina Smith of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra and Piccolo with Mrs. Kelly Bryant of the Atlanta Opera. Ms. Green is currently pursuing her Master’s Degree in Flute Performance from the University of New Mexico where she studies with Valerie Potter of the New Mexico Symphony and is a Graduate Assistant and Fellow of the UNM School of Music.
