A virtuoso flute player, Jovana Damnjanović, leads a versatile career as a soloist, chamber musician, and educator. As a soloist, Ms. Damnjanović was a prize winner of the Flutissimo Young Artist Competition, the San Diego Flute Guild, the Midsouth Young Artist Competition, the Raleigh Area Flute Association Young Artist competition, and the Brumby Concerto Competition.

Ms. Damnjanović is currently pursuing her DMA degree at the University of Georgia under tutelage of professor Angela Jones-Reus. A native of Serbia, Ms. Damnjanović graduated in Flute Performance Master degree from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad with Honors of Musical Arts. Ms. Damnjanović also holds her second Master degree in Flute Performance from Georgia State University where she studied with Professor Sarah Kruser Ambrose. In 2014, Ms. Damnjanović was offered a scholarship to attend the Universität für Musik and darstellende Kunst International Summer Academy in Vienna which allowed her to study with Kersten McKall and Felix Renggli.
